I got my ass royally handed to me by an installation today. We've got this house with a massive distributed audio/video system in it, with a damn nice front-projection theater to go with it (45" x 107" curved screen, Runco projector with optional Whitney anamorphic lens). It was in this theater that I received my fail.
After doing the math a few times, I ended up with a 2.35:1 image a full 5 inches too high on the screen.
I fucking HATE external lenses.
*sigh*
