She never begins an attack, nor, when once engaged, ever surrenders: She is therefore an emblem of magnanimity and true courage. ... she never wounds 'till she has generously given notice, even to her enemy, and cautioned him against the danger of treading on her.

Turkey Day and Books

A couple things. First, Thanksgiving Day has been truly wonderful. Dinner was fantastic, it was great to have the family together, and I have so many, many things to be thankful for. I could go on for hours and hours with the good things going right now. I am truly blessed.

The other day, while at the mall with The Wifey and The Little Girl, we hit up Barnes and Nobles and each got new books. The Little Girl picked up the next Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, The Wifey got the next book from Patricia Cornwell, and I finally picked up my copy of Monster Hunter Vendetta. I wish I had picked it up when it first came out to help bolster Larry's numbers for the initial release (sorry, Larry, and I'll do better on the next books!). I haven't read it yet, but I read the first one, and I'm tellin' y'all, buy this book. You will not regret it.

I will read MHV, but it's gonna be a while. I have started reading The Lord of the Rings again. Currently, the hobbits are in Bree, and are making arrangements to leave with Strider. Needless to say, I've a bit of reading ahead of me. I think I'll take my book to work (at my new job).

Nighty night, intarw3bz.

Feel free to drop a line. You don't have to keep it clean - God knows, I won't - but keep it above the belt.
